In my previous entry which I had reverted to draft, I shared on Haagen Daz ice cream with links of Halalpages. If u search in www.halalpages.com.my/quicklisting3.asp you can see the ice cream stated under halal pages certificate number and its expiry date 15th January 2015-refer below. But I have no idea how come this name is listed in Halal pages. Appreciate comments from beloved friends, if u have any just leave it below.
Unfortunately, after receiving several comments from readers in my reverted entry, I did some research and found a recent entry of Halal or haram website, shared about email from Haagen-Dazs of the halal status. This entry was published by the author on 16th Feb 2014. Even though this entry has not been validated , but I still want to share it here with info source from Here. I hope all readers take note on this reply email and the halal status.
If you are unable to read due to size, I had copied the entire mail for your reference.

Dear HalalorHaram Admin
Thank you for your email to us on the subject of “Enquiry regarding Haagen Dazs Ice Cream”.
We are pleased to inform you that although Häagen-Dazs is not specifically certified Halal, it is made under processes which meet very stringent sanitary and quality requirements.
The only animal products in Häagen-Dazs products are fresh cream, skimmed milk and egg yolk. None of our ingredients are derived from pigs. The gelling agent used in our products is plant based (pectin).
Muslims may wish to avoid Häagen-Dazs products containing alcohol for example Baileys ice cream and Häagen-Dazs Baileys Stick Bar products which contain less than 0.5% alcohol per 100 ml of product. For your information, some of our ice cream (e.g. Vanilla based) contain a very small amount of alcohol (0.20%) due to the flavor which is alcohol based.
Please be advised that ingredient labels of our products should always be read prior to consumption to determine content.
Hope this information is useful to you.
We look forward to your continued support of Häagen-Dazs.
Thank you

To share information from other website, I normally left comments for permission prior sharing. For this case,no option for comments was found in the blog. I would be more than happy to use my blog in spreading information and I hope friends please take note on this issue. Even certified food, like Cadbury at last it is no more halal, so it is a must for Muslims to leave the not certified ones. Semoga Allah mengampuni dosa hamba-hambaNYA. Amin
